As part of IWOAI 2025, we are pleased to offer a complimentary guided tour of the Samuel Pepys Library, available exclusively to registered delegates and speakers.
Tour times: Friday lunchtimes (1:00–1:45 pm)
Spaces available: 15 places
Lunch access: Delegates signed up for the tour will receive priority access to lunch on their selected day.
The tour, led by Dr M. E. J. Hughes, Pepys Librarian, will showcase Pepys’s collection of medical and anatomical works. Samuel Pepys, known for his keen interest in medicine following his operation for the stone in 1658, collected both contemporary and historical medical treatises. Highlights include the Library’s largest volume, Cowper’s Anatomy (1700).
Further information about the Samuel Pepys Library can be found here.
We also plan to send more details to registered delegates by email closer to the event.
